Expana to launch Chinese Apple Juice Concentrate Expana Benchmark Prices

Following a period of feedback, Expana has decided to launch monthly Expana Benchmark Prices (EBP) for apple juice concentrate, Chinese origin. The publication of the new assessment will start from Wednesday, 31st July 2024.

The initial proposal was announced in a market note published on Monday, 1st July 2024 which can be viewed here.

The specifications for the assessment will be as below:

The assessment will reflect the transactable value at 16:00:00 London time.   

Chinese apple juice is widely consumed both domestically and in export markets including the US and Europe. The assessment will give Expana subscribers a reliable and independent benchmark for Chinese concentrated apple juice and allow for price comparisons against Expana’s existing coverage from other major producing origins.
