Expana launches Turkish Diced Apricot Expana Benchmark Prices

Expana has launched four weekly Expana Benchmark Prices for Turkish-origin diced apricots, 5x8mm, effective Wednesday 4th December 2024.
The initial proposal was announced in a market note which can be viewed here. The decision to go ahead with the launch was communicated in a market note on 14th November 2024, which can be found here.

Turkey is the largest producer and exporter of dried apricots. Dried apricots are extensively traded in diced form due to their versatile use across the food industry in biscuits, cereal bars or breakfast cereals and muesli.
The assessments complement Expana’s existing coverage of Turkish-origin dried apricots no. 4.
These assessments also offer Expana’s subscribers a comprehensive market view of a widely used food ingredient, essential to manufacturers in the snacking, bakery, and confectionery sectors.
