Expana proposes to change the monthly and weekly assessment schedule for some of its Dairy EBP

Expana proposes to change the assessment schedule for some of its US-based Dairy Expana Benchmark Prices (EBP) from Friday, March 28th, 2025, onwards. The proposal is suggested to align assessments with the time-zones they operate in. This would impact assessment times as well as assessment days.
Expana is collecting feedback on this proposal until Friday, February 14th, 2025.
The proposed changes would see
- The weekly assessments would move from 16:00 UK time to 16:00 EST time every Thursday,
- The monthly assessments would move from 16:00 UK time to 16:00 EST time on the last working day of each month.
The proposed change would bring the assessment schedules in line with the regions they are assessed in. Full details of our methodology, including the public holidays observed in the Americas, can be found in the Expana Assessment Methodology Guide available here.
