Expana to launch Turkish Diced Apricot Expana Benchmark Prices

Following a period of market feedback, Expana has decided to launch four weekly Expana Benchmark Prices for Turkish-origin diced apricots, 5x8mm. The publication of the new assessments will start from Wednesday 4th December 2024.

The proposed specifications for these assessments will be as below:

The assessments will reflect the transactable value every Wednesday at 16:00 London time.

Turkey is the largest producer and exporter of dried apricots. Dried apricots are extensively traded in diced form due to their versatile use across the food industry in biscuits, cereal bars or breakfast cereals and muesli.

The assessments will complement Expana’s existing coverage of Turkish-origin dried apricots no. 4.

These assessments will also offer Expana’s subscribers a comprehensive market view of a widely used food ingredient, essential to manufacturers in the snacking, bakery, and confectionery sectors.
